On the way down I found Cowpens. I wasn't sure if I would be able to find Kings Mountain as it was heavily wooded and there are virtually no distinguishing features around. Well… except for the huge monument on the north plateau. The visitors center is in the lower left. Looking west. Kings Mountain National Military Park, South Carolina. March 29, 2012.
